Title: Using Transformers to Turn Jones polynomials into Knots
Abstract: Transformers are a powerful deep learning model, and an effective tool for sequence-to-sequence operations. In this talk I will discuss the potential of using transformers to translate a Jones polynomial into a knot permutation, why transformers are well suited for this problem, and the potential applications of the results of this work in progress.
